Just 7 days before the elopement wedding of Shoko and Yoshitaka I got a call from my friend who is also a wedding photographer in Salzburg Austria. He got injured one week before their wedding. Luckily I was available so I jumped in to replace him. Usually, I like to meet couples before their wedding day maybe even more before they book me. Especially when they come from totally different cultures – like Japan. Unfortunately, this time it was not possible. In addition to that, they don’t speak English. I speak four languages, but Japanese is unfortunately not on that list. You can imagine my level of stress and a hard time trying to direct them. In the end, it is important that we made it somehow ?
The Wedding ceremony was in Mirabell Palace’s Marble Hall, we walked and did the photoshoot in the Mirabell Schloss gardens, some photos in the carriage around the center of Salzburg and took some photos in Sacher hotel in Salzburg.
Elopement is a marriage conducted in sudden and secretive fashion, usually involving a hurried flight away from one’s place of residence together with one’s beloved with the intention of getting married.
